Hello! My name is Madison Meyer and I am the Middle School Science Teacher. I also teach 8th Grade Careers and 6th/7th Robotics. I am so excited to be here at Oakville with all these amazing students. They are witty, funny, and have a hunger to learn that I am delighted to experience!
Outside of the classroom, I love to hang out with my family and friends, go hiking, camping, read, and travel as much as possible.

Margo Riley

Hello my name is Margo Riley and I am proud to be an Oakville Acorn. This is my 3rd year at Oakville, but my first year at Oakville middle school. Before coming to Oakville I taught in various educational roles from preschool to high school at Centralia school district and other locations. I have my Bachelor’s. in Psychology and my Master’s in Education.
I have a true passion for working with our learners! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, and language—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. This year I teach ELA 6, Ancient World History 6, ACE 6, Washington State History 7, ELA 7, and ELA 8. I also lead the art club and the video game club.
Personally, I am married and have two beautiful children, Logan who is four months old and Ezra who is a year and four months old. Fun fact, they were born on the same day a year apart! Kyle, my husband, stays home with the babies. We also have two dogs and a fish named Diego.

Hello fellow Acorns! I am Craig Schwartz and I am the Middle School math teacher. This is my second year at Oakville but I have been teaching since 1993. I have taught almost every grade and subject from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Before beginning my career in Oakville, I had previously taught in Dayton, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada. My wife, Tammy, and I enjoy kayaking, entertaining our dog Kaipo, and finding new adventures here in Washington.
I am looking forward to changing the way my students think about Mathematics. I want them to see all the connections to math outside of the classroom and how it can be applied in creative ways.
