Coach Mootz recently moved from the deserts of Southern Nevada.  While living there she enjoyed boating on the now dried up Lake Mead and leaving the city as often as she could.  She attended UNLV for her bachelor's degree then North Central University for her Master's. After finishing school, Coach Mootz taught in the Las Vegas Valley while coaching high school softball.  She and her family moved up to the PNW looking for water (found it!), a great school to teach at (found it!), and Big Foot (still looking).  When not at work, Coach Mootz enjoys spending time with her family.  They enjoy being outside and exploring, so they're often out finding new coffee shops and places to hike and fish.  Their house is full of readers and can often be found with their nose in a book. She's excited to be an Acorn and is ready for the school year to start!
