Hello! My name is Nikky Rutherford and I am incredibly excited to be teaching at Oakville! I live in Napavine with my husband, Iain, three of our kids Hannah (13), Mattheus (11) and Benjamin (1), our three cats Gizmo, Poe and Maverick, and dog Jack. My oldest bonus kid, Mickiala is 20 and living on her own. I was born and raised in western Washington, but spent most of my 20s living and working in Germany. I graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2015 with my Bachelor’s degree in Geosciences and my Master’s in Teaching from the University of Washington in 2020. My first three years as a teacher were spent in Federal Way, teaching 3^rd grade with a team that included my mom! When I am not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and reading.
