Policy review is an ongoing process. Policies are recommended and sometimes required by the Washington State Legislature, the Washington State School Directors' Association (WSSDA), and the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. Local policies are also developed by staff and the Oakville School District Board of Directors. All policies are approved by the OSD Board of Directors.
We use the numbering system that has been adopted by the Washington State School Directors Association.
