I am a transplant to the Pacific Northwest from the Desert Southwest; I’ve been part of the South Sound community for more than twenty-six years and I absolutely love living here.  I am a graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree, I received a Bachelor of Arts, and a Master in Teaching from The Evergreen State College in 2009.  I have had the pleasure of working in the Oakville School District since 2009 when I began substitute teaching with the district.  We have raised four sons who have now given us two grandsons and one granddaughter whom I am dedicated to spoiling.  When outside the classroom I enjoy playing in the dirt, cooking, baking and working on stained glass windows.
