Mr. Booth 6-12 Social Studies

Hello Oakville Families,

My name is Brandon Booth and it is my privilege to teach Social Studies at Oakville. This includes US History, World History, and Contemporary World Problems. 

I was born in the Los Angeles area, but spent the previous 12 years in Las Vegas, Nevada. I moved to the area this past summer of 2021 with my wife, Anca, and two kids. Max has just recently turned 1, and Elon, who is in Transitional Kindergarten with Ms. Bol here at Oakville, is 5. I am perhaps most passionate about my role as an educator and historian. I hold degrees in three different fields: Anthropology, Education, and History. Outside of the realm of academics, I enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with my family. 

My favorite thing about being here at Oakville is the small size of both the town and school, which makes everything so intimate. It has been so amazing getting to know all of the wonderful students at the Middle and High School. I especially appreciate the energy, enthusiasm, and brutal honesty of our children.
