Ms. Brittni Leitch 8-12 English Language Arts

Hello! My name is Brittni Leitch and I am the High School English teacher here at OHS. I have been a teacher for 5 years and a paraeducator for 3 years before that. I started my career in Hoquiam and then Aberdeen before joining Oakville.  I love being a teacher, and am so excited to be a part of the wonderful Oakville community. My favorite part of joining OHS has been the kids; I have never met a more diverse, talented and loving group of kids in my career. 

I am originally from the South East and so occasionally, you may hear my Southern accent come out. I moved to Washington in 2014 to be closer to my husband’s family and I have loved every minute of it! 

Outside of the classroom, I am a mom and wife. I enjoy spending time with my little family and pretending that I can craft. My favorite hobbies are sewing and reading, when I have time, of course!
